The Piano is Dead - Long Live the Piano!

So how's this for a before and after shot -- this is the same piano that I played on the recent video from Duncan Park -- Graham Reynolds had a master plan last Saturday to bring out a sledgehammer during the middle of his solo piece, and this is the result:

There are plenty of other action shots and probably a video or two of Graham destroying this fine instrument -- the truth is it was going to be destroyed anyway, so I'm glad I had the chance to play it before last Saturday's finale.  Next time, I should totally put together a duo performance with Graham where one of us plays while the other one beats the piano to death...
